Nokia is working on new Lumia smartphones, Lumia 630 and Lumia 930

Nokia has become No.1 Windows Phone maker with its lumia series of phones. The company has successfully launched multiple lumia smartphones globally. It now looks as if the company is working on one budget and one high end lumia device with a more compact size. The budget offering Nokia working on is Lumia 630 codenamed as ‘MoneyPenny’. This smartphone is said to come with a 4.5-inch WVGA display with some changes in the design of the phone.

Another device in the list is likely to be a high end Lumia smartphone, model number and name of the phone is rumored to be Lumia 930 codenamed ‘Martini’. There is not much information about the Lumia 930 right now but we speculate that the Lumia 930 is likely to be a global variant of the Lumia 929 which was launched for US customers only. The Lumia 929 is a 5-inch Full HD smartphone offering top notch features and hardware in a more compact body.

Current high end Lumia 1520 is a 6-inch smartphone, a lot of people love the Lumia 1520 but stay away due to its huge size. The Lumia 929 was brought to the US market for those who prefer a high end but not so big smartphone. Lumia 930 may come in to fill the global null in Windows Phone in the 5-inch high end smartphone segment.

These smartphones are likely to be unveiled at Microsoft build developer conference 2 weeks later. If the rumors are to be believed Nokia may launch both these smartphone for the global audience, as one of these is a mid-range entry level smartphone and the other is a high end compact phablet. We will hook ourselves up with the Microsoft Build conference to find more about these smartphones. Stay tuned!
