Nokia Lumia phones to get Windows Phone 8.1 Update

Nokia recently launched three Lumia phones, Lumia 930, Lumia 630 (Dual SIM also) and Lumia 635 at the Microsoft Build Conference at San Francisco. During the launch event Nokia announced that it will update all its Lumia phones running Windows Phone 8 OS to Windows Phone 8.1. This sounds great as the Windows Phone 8.1 comes with Notification Centre, Latest Calendar App, Boot enhancements and Cortana.

Current popular Lumia phones on Windows Phone 8 are Lumia 1520, Lumia 1320, Lumia 1020, Lumia 925, Lumia 800 and a few more. These phones will get the Lumia Cyan update which will bring the above mentioned modifications to the phones. The update will be rolled out Over-The-Air and will download automatically after confirmation from the user.

The Lumia Cyan update will also bring the Latest Camera App along with improved Story teller App. There will be additional photo editing options stuffed in the update which will allow users to add a lot of effects to the images shot using their respective phones. So if you have a Lumia phone that is running on Windows Phone 8 and above OS will get the update in the coming months. The exact date for the update is still not announced. Let us wait for Nokia to roll out this update to see which phones get the best features post update.
